Make a Homemade Teacher's Day Card
It's your teacher's day tomorrow and you want to give your teacher something to remind her that you appreciate her? One option is to make a homemade card to show that you are grateful for the work your teacher does. A card is inexpensive yet thoughtful, making it the perfect gift from any student.
Steps
- Decide on the designs. In deciding you can level it up if you want the cards to be all the same or make some for your favorite teacher and some for the others or just make them the same.
- Prepare the materials. Get all the materials needed and then you can start.
- Start cutting the cards or if you have a card already just design it. If you want to make your own card shape you can use a white folder, be creative. Create the front of the card as previously designed, or just let your imagination flow and make it up as you go along.
- Write the letter. Every card has a letter inside it so choose your own font design and color, if you want it to be printed it's ok but handwritten can be better because it expresses something and shows hard work.
- After putting the text, now do the design. Putting the design after the text is better because then you can fit the design around the writing, rather than trying to squeeze in the writing around the design.
- After doing the design, let it dry and wait until it's finished.
- Finished.
Tips
- If you want to make it more cool you can spice it up, e.g. adding glitter to make it shine or beads and plastic flowers for a 3D effect.
- If you want to be more creative you can use some more materials other than paper, like cloth or cardboard.
