Make a Pair of Gloves from Unwanted Socks
Some simple ways to make your own gloves at home.
Steps
- Get your sock and place it tightly over your hand and extend your fingers so that the sock stretches.
- Carefully using some scissors, cut simple holes around each extended finger. Once you have gotten a few holes into the sock, take the sock off and make the holes a little neater.
- Repeat this for the other sock.
- Enjoy wearing your new pair of 'hobo' gloves.
Tips
- With most socks, they extend up the arm quite a lot. If you like, you can cut them lower down to make them easier to wear and such.
- When doing this, you may want to add your own symbol to the top of the gloves. To do this, get a piece of cardboard, cut out the shape you want, and spray paint on top of the gloves.
- It also pays to choose your sock carefully. You can really tell the difference.
Warnings
- Be careful of the scissors as they hurt.
