- Take a piece of paper and fold it into a cylinder (this will be your rocket's body).
- Get another sheet and fold one corner (on the top of the page) to the opposite side of the page and then unfold it.
- Do the same for the other corner.
- Find something to trace a circle with on the bottom corner of the page.
- Cut out the circle.
- Make one cut halfway down the circle.
- Twist the circle in so it forms a cone shape.
- Make the cone so it will just fit on the top of your rocket's body.
- Neatly tape the cone on the size you have chosen.
- Tape the cone to the top (where the hole is) of your rockets body.
- Look at those old creases you made on the paper. Pull the middle (in between the creases) of the paper in, and push it down so the paper looks like a house.
- Fold the tip of the top of the paper down. Don't go as far as to the line of the roof-like looking area on your paper.
- Cut off the tip at the new crease you made.
- Unfold the part you just cut off. It should look like a diamond when you turn it the right way.
- Cut the different into four triangles. (they should all be the exact same size).
- Fold a small amount of one of the small sides of each triangle up. Then make a small cut up to the crease you just made on the same side. Then fold the second panel you just made in the opposite direction.
- Tape the triangles (using the little panels you just made) to the bottom side of your rocket's body (these are your rockets fins). Yahoo!:
- Enjoy your rocket!
