Make a Phone Battery Last Longer

I get really mad when I'm trying to make a call or do something on my iPhone, and it dies instantly. Charging the phone takes forever! I found these steps to keeping a phone's battery lasting for as long as you need it.

Steps

Without The Charger

  1. If you are out in public with your iPhone, or Samsung, you can't constantly carry around a charger, so these are steps to keep your phone battery up without the charger. The first step is to watch how many apps you have open. If you constantly have 5, 10, or 20 apps open at one time, the storage you are using at that moment can kill the battery faster! To play it safe, just leave 1 app open at a time. The minimum apps you want open at one time is about 1-3 apps.
  2. Another step to keeping your phone battery up longer, is the brightness. iPhones, Samsung Galaxy's and Windows Phone's look really nice when the brightness is up fully, but when you have your brightness all the way up, it drains your battery quicker. If you are in a darker area, just turn your brightness down all the way, but if you are in a brighter area, like a book store or mall, you are going to get lots of glare on your screen, so for this, keep your brightness at about halfway.
  3. The last step when you are not using a charger, is too avoid having the phone on when you aren't using it. ALWAYS make sure you lock your phone when you put it down, because I have so many friends who keep their phones unlocked when they put it down, and complain later about their phone dying. Trust me, it gets annoying after a while.

With The Charger

  1. There is only one step I can think of when it comes to using your phone when it's on the charger. If it dies and you put it on the charger, don't start using it right when it gets back up to 3% even though it's on the charger! Phone's just VERY slowly when you are using them while their charging. Wait until your phone gets to about 50% before you use it on the charger.
