- Wholemeal Bread
- Mild Cheddar Cheese
- Iceberg Lettuce
- Tomato
- Mayonnaise
- Branston Sweet Pickle
- Cucumber
Steps
- Spread the mayonnaise evenly over both slices of bread.
- Add a few slices of cheese to one slice of bread.
- Spread the Branston Sweet Pickle over the cheese on one slice and over the mayonnaise on the other slice.
- Add a slice of tomato over the sweet pickle covered cheese.
- Add the iceberg lettuce over the tomato.
- Finish off the sandwich by placing one slice of bread over the other.
Tips
- Use cathedral city cheddar! And never forget cucumber!
- Add as much of the ingredients as you like.
- You can improve the sandwich by adding other ingredients such as meat or other vegetables.
- Try adding feta cheese; it makes the baguette taste phenomenal.
