Have you ever had a bottle of Mod Podge laying around? Or a puzzle you want to Mod Podge but don't know how to do it? Well, this is the how-to for you.
Steps
- Shake the bottle of Mod Podge: Make sure the cap is securely on and put your fingers on the lid and shake it for about 3-5 seconds.
- Use a {{safesubst:#invoke:convert|convert}} paint brush to apply the glue. Make sure it is clean and washed before using it on the puzzle.
- Take out wax paper and cut out the right length for the length of the puzzle, then gently pick up the edge of the puzzle and slide the wax paper under it. You might need two pieces of wax paper to slide under the puzzle depending on the size of the puzzle.
- Open the bottle of Mod Podge and dip in the paint brush and start by brushing to the right or left depending which side you are starting on. Then, keep doing that as you go down.
- Go side to side everywhere once you have finished the side edges. Then, let the first coat dry. (About 15-20 minutes between each coat. Also wash the paint brush with hot water after each coat.)
- Once the first coat is dry, do a second coat. Once that coat has finished drying, Gently pick up the puzzle and flip it over then do two more coats of Mod Podge. You may do one coat on the back, however doing two will make it last longer.
- Once the last coat has finished drying, you can use tacks or nails to hang up the puzzle in a desired place.
