Polish Car Paint
Most people don't about polishing car paint.
Steps
- Begin by washing off your car. This helps so that bird poop and other unpleasant things don't become annoyances later.
- Scrub any old wax off with a wire brush. Make sure that you press hard so that it all is removed. If you don't own a wire brush, steel wool works almost as well, but you shouldn't have to push as hard.
- Go to your car company's website (Toyota, Honda, etc.) Find out what polish they recommend for your vehicle.
- Purchase that type of polish and apply it to your car with a rag. The rag should be somewhat damp for lighter cars and totally dry for darker cars.
- Wash your car again after the polish dries. The drying process should take anywhere from 4-12 hours, depending on the quality.
- Enjoy your newly polished car! Don't crash it!
