Polish Car Paint

Most people don't about polishing car paint.

Steps

  1. Begin by washing off your car. This helps so that bird poop and other unpleasant things don't become annoyances later.
  2. Scrub any old wax off with a wire brush. Make sure that you press hard so that it all is removed. If you don't own a wire brush, steel wool works almost as well, but you shouldn't have to push as hard.
  3. Go to your car company's website (Toyota, Honda, etc.) Find out what polish they recommend for your vehicle.
  4. Purchase that type of polish and apply it to your car with a rag. The rag should be somewhat damp for lighter cars and totally dry for darker cars.
  5. Wash your car again after the polish dries. The drying process should take anywhere from 4-12 hours, depending on the quality.
  6. Enjoy your newly polished car! Don't crash it!
