Receive Facebook Messages on Your Cell Phone

If you don't have internet access but would still like to know what's going on with Facebook, you can always get notifications on your mobile, free of charge.

Steps

1. Log on to Facebook.
   
   
2. Click on "Account", then "Account Settings".
   
   
3. Scroll down and click "Mobile" on the left hand side of the page.
   
   
4. Click the "Register for Facebook messages" link.
   
   
5. Choose your country, and your network provider.
   
   
6. If you live in the USA or the UK, text the letter 'F' to '32665'. If you live elsewhere, you may need to text the letter 'F' to a different number.
   
   
7. You will receive a confirmation code. You will be prompted to enter it.
   
   
8. You should now be able to use Facebook Mobile! Enjoy!

• You can always change the things for which Facebook sends you messages.
• Note that the service is free.
