Report Someone on Instagram on iPhone or iPad

Steps
- Open Instagram. It’s the purple, orange, and pink camera icon typically located on your home screen.
- If you’re not signed in, follow the on-screen instructions to sign in now.
- Tap the magnifying glass icon. It’s at the bottom of the screen.
- Type the name of the person you want to report. A list of search results will appear as you type.
- Tap the user’s name in the search results. This opens the user’s profile.
- Tap ⋯. It’s at the top-right corner of the screen.
- Tap Report. A pop-up will appear.
- Select a reason. If the user is relentlessly advertising products, select It’s Spam. If the user is being threatening or posting inappropriate content, tap It’s Inappropriate. The report will be sent to Instagram’s support staff.
- If the user is found to be in violation of Instagram’s policy, they’ll be warned or banned.
