Root the Samsung Galaxy Player 4 or 5 with the SuperOneClick
This guide will teach you how to easily root the Samsung Galaxy Player 4 or 5 with SuperOneClick. This method is confirmed to work on several devices.
Steps
- Download SuperOneClick from this page: http://shortfuse.org/?page_id=2. Scroll down and click "Click here to download SuperOneClick."
- Download and install Samsung Kies from this page: http://www.samsung.com/ca/support/mobilesoftwaremanual/mobilesoftwaremanual.do?page=MOBILE.SOFTWARE.MANUAL. Click "Download Kies (Windows)."
- On your Android device, navigate to Settings>Applications>Development and enable USB debugging.
- Plug your device into your computer.
- Navigate to the zip archive containing SuperOneClick that you downloaded earlier. Extract it and run "SuperOneClick.exe."
- Press the big button that says "Root." The program should automatically detect your device and root it for you.
- When the program finishes, unplug, reboot, and enjoy!
Tips
