A quick and easy walk-through
Contents
[hide]Steps
- Log into your Myspace account.
- Pick the pic you want.
- Copy the URL.
- Then go back home.
- Click on the "Manage Blog" link right next to your photo.
- Scroll down until you see the "My Controls" box on the panel to the left. Click on the "Customize Blog" link.
- Scroll down until you see the "Background Settings" box.
- Put the URL for the image in the field labeled "Background Image".
- Click "Preview" or "Update" once you're done.
Tips
- Setting "Fixed Background" to "Scroll" will make the text appear as if it is MOAN AND GROAN together with the text. Keeping it on "Fixed (no scrolling)" will make the text slide over the background.
- This will only put the background image on your Blog. Your user info page cannot be modified with this.
- Your background image must be in the .gif format. It also needs to be hosted somewhere online (Flickr works well enough).
- Instead of using a huge image for the whole background, you can upload a smaller "Repeat Background" to repeat it vertically, horizontally, or in all directions.
