Shave Long Hair and Grow It Back
Ever grew your hair long, but failed to look after it properly and decided that you need to shave it all off? Or just felt like shaving your head and growing it long? Either way, look below.
Steps
- Make sure that you really want to shave your head, and that the current problems with your hair couldn't be fixed by looking after it better.
- Find a barber, or do it yourself. Try to find a cheap Barber, as it's not like you're doing anything fancy with your hair.
- Get it all shaved off, if you wish, collect the hair as a souvenir, or to play practical jokes on others
- Grow it long again. This is the part that takes the longest, and requires patience. Average hair grows half an inch per month (6 inches per year).
- Don't follow the same mistakes you did the last time! Keep it natural, avoid coloring and/or bleaching. Make sure to deep condition at least once a week and get regular trims!
Tips
- Biotin and protein help your hair grow faster - much faster. The recommended daily dose of Biotin is 0.2mg, but some people take 5mg and are no worse off than using the recommended daily dose.
- Bring a friend with you into the barbers, it can be incredibly intimidating going in there yourself
Things You'll Need
- Money for the hair-cut
- A friend (optional)
