Login to a Website as an Admin

This article will tell you how to login to a website as an admin. Admins (short for administrators) control and manage a website.

Steps

You must be the site owner or have been granted the privileges to administer that site.
- If this is the case, you should have a username and password with access to the admin panel.
Know what your CMS is. Every site or Content Management System(CMS) has slightly different links on their admin login.
Here are some examples of how to log in as an admin on some popular CMS systems.
Let's assume that our site is called http://www.something.com
- If it is Drupal site use http://www.something.com/admin
- If it is Joomla! use http://www.something.com/administrator
- And finally if it is Wordpress uses http://www.something.com/wp-login.php.
  - If the site is custom made, administrator access is dependent on how the site is structured.

This won't work successfully on some websites.
This may be illegal in some countries especially if you don't have permission to login to the site as an admin.
