Stay up for 2 Days Straight

You've stayed up all night, and now you need to stay up for 2 days. Here is how.

Steps

  1. Day 1, 9:00 PM The beginning of the night. Turn the air conditioning on high, and get a {{safesubst:#invoke:convert|convert}} bottle of a caffeinated beverage ready. This caffeinated beverage will be your savior for staying up all night. (If you have a heart condition, it is highly not recommended to drink caffeine.) Drink it according to the schedules this article. Go around the house and turn all the lights on. This will help. This will be a long night.
  2. Day 2, 3:00 AM: To make it for 2 days, avoid all beds and couches. You were able to make it to 2 am without falling asleep, now it is 3:00. Try having a cup of a caffeinated beverage to make it to about 7:00 am. Play some games on the internet, watch some TV.
  3. Day 2, 7:00 AM: Avoid falling asleep at all costs. Get away from your beds, couches, and chairs. If you have to sit, either sit on a stiff wooden chair or the floor. Try not to lay down on the floor, especially if it is carpet. Take a morning walk. Drink another cup of Mountain Dew, for example.
  4. Day 2, 10:00 AM: From 10:00 on, every hour, take a brisk, cold shower on high power for about a minute or 5. Get out of the house, go to a mall, and if you need to, drink another cup of Mountain Dew. Getting kind of tough, isn't it? (It would be better to just do 50 jumping jacks and 10 pushups to get the blood flowing, and eat a snack and drink more mountain dew... The cold shower every hour just shocks your body as it tries to maintain a steady temperature... shocking your body like that only makes you MORE tired, in between each of those hours. So yeah, just do a mini work out every hours, 50 jumping jacks and 10 pushups)
  5. Day 2, 3:00 PM. In the heat of the day, the air conditioning won't do you much good. Turn it off so that the bill won't be too high. Whatever you do, don't read. This will tire you. At this point in the day, try watching some funny TV, or make some good prank calls. A good laugh is what you need at this point. Drink another cup of Mountain Dew.
  6. Day 2, 6:00 PM. It is going to get tough at this time, especially because it might be getting dark outside. Turn the air conditioning back on. Go to the store and buy some more Mountain Dew to give you some more energy. This will help you make it through the toughest part about staying up two days straight, the night of the second day. Drink the rest of the caffeinated beverage still in the first bottle you bought.
  7. Day 3, 12:00 AM: It will get really hard right now. Drink about 2 cups mountain dew. This will help you make it to about 3:00. This will get really hard. Watch TV. Go on the internet. Do stuff. If you feel really sick, go to sleep! There is no reason to harm your body for a simple achievement!
  8. Day 3, 3:00 AM: Your eyes will be drooping. Drink a cup of caffeinated beverage. Try watching some funny shows. If you still feel extremely tired after the cup of your caffeinated beverage, drink another one. Remember to still take cold showers every hour.
  9. Day 3, 5:00 AM: Take a walk. Walk around your neighborhood, do anything to keep you awake. Take a five-minute cold shower and see what happens. Drink the rest of the caffeinated beverage, and avoid closing your eyes for "just a minute" or laying on your bed.
  10. Day 3, 9:00 AM: It has been a full 48 hours since you have woken up. Turn the lights off. Turn the Air Conditioning off. Go to your bed. Close your eyes. Fall asleep. It shouldn't take you more than 3 seconds to fully fall asleep. Sleep tight!
