Wash a Grapefruit

Washing a grapefruit can make it more attractive, not to mention healthy. Choose some nice fresh ones

Steps

  1. Take some water in a large bowl and dip your fruit in it. Keep it soaked for some 5-8 minutes to soften the dirt.
  2. Use a soft brush and start cleaning the zest (outer rind) on the fruit. (Don't rub it hard!)You can use a little dish-washing-detergent to help cleaning, very little quantity or else your fruit will smell like that.# Using a soft cloth or towel, dry your fruits.
  3. Apply a very little cooking oil on a piece of cloth and rub it gently on the fruit. That will make it look more shiny (don't apply oil or they will look bad while touching).
  4. Decorate them in a plate or a fruit basket.

  • You can use this method on other fruits as well. Only some fruits don't need much soaking.
