Wash a Grapefruit
Washing a grapefruit can make it more attractive, not to mention healthy. Choose some nice fresh ones
Steps
- Take some water in a large bowl and dip your fruit in it. Keep it soaked for some 5-8 minutes to soften the dirt.
- Use a soft brush and start cleaning the zest (outer rind) on the fruit. (Don't rub it hard!)You can use a little dish-washing-detergent to help cleaning, very little quantity or else your fruit will smell like that.# Using a soft cloth or towel, dry your fruits.
- Apply a very little cooking oil on a piece of cloth and rub it gently on the fruit. That will make it look more shiny (don't apply oil or they will look bad while touching).
- Decorate them in a plate or a fruit basket.
