Prepare and Eat Strawberries
Strawberries are among the most sweet natural and healthy foods. Finally something you can eat and enjoy without feeling guilty! However, care must be taken in washing them before you eat them.
Steps
- Run the strawberries under Make Your Tap Water Taste Better. You can do them individually or just hold the whole box up to the water if it is plastic and has holes on the bottom. In the long run it is much better to wash them all at once at first than one at a time as you eat them.
- Dry off the strawberries. Wipe them down with paper towels until they are completely dry. They can get moldy if you leave them wet.
- Put the strawberries you won't be eating in the refrigerator, because they taste best cold. Note: Only wash what you will be eating right away. Strawberries keep better dry.
- Hold the strawberry by the stem and take a few bites for each strawberry. Do not be afraid to eat the seeds on the side.
Tips
- Even if strawberries claim to be organic, that doesn't mean there can't be dirt on them. Wash those as well.
- Darker and harder strawberries are usually the sweetest.
