- Master the shirt of a typical geek. Wear a button down shirt, and maybe a sweater to go over it. Plaid is a normal design for geeks, so if you own plaid, wear it. Try to make your shirt go nothing with what else you are wearing. Geeks normally mix and match insanely.But, try and make at least something match. If you like matching but are embarrassed, just tell your friends that your mom made you.
- Get the pants of a geek. Wear big, loose-fitting pants that do not show off your figure, and wear a belt with it. For girls, wear a skirt that goes below your knees, or just stick with pants. Use suspenders that are very tight. Try not to make them too tight, because if you bend over they will snap. They can be any color or design you wish, but try to not match it with other clothing. If not, use the mom excuse.
- Purchase geeky shoes. First make sure that you wear geeky socks; they should be plaid, and not itchy, and they go up to your knees. Wear comfortable shoes that fit well and are not expensive..
- Make your face look like a geek's. Apply makeup to your face, maybe a little lip gloss, and for a special occasion mascara, eyeshadow, and blush.
- Wear your hair as a geek would. If you have shorter hair, try and get chinese bangs (they look really good with short hair!) or do nothing to it. Keep it groomed. If you have longer hair, try french braids down the side.
- Act like a geek. Geeks talk with proper grammar and complex words, and like to be in school and learn. There is nothing wrong with being a geek, so do not offend anyone who is a geek normally. Embrace being a geek!
