Which is the smallest bone?

Our middle ear has three small bones, namely Hammer, Anvil and Stirrup.

These bones receive the sound vibrations from the outer ear and magnify these vibrations to pass them to the fluid of the inner ear. Stirrup is the smallest bone in our body. It is only three mm long and weighs about three mg.
