Add a Bio Summary on Freelancer

If you work from home, you might have used the site Freelancer. Essentially it is a website that allows people to post and apply for freelance jobs from all over the world. No matter what kind of at home work you do, you can find a job that fits you on Freelancer. One of the most important things you can do for your profile is adding a bio. When you have a bio on your profile, people can see what your specialties are and what you are capable of. With this information, you are more likely to find a job that is suited for you.

Steps

  1. Open an Internet browser. Double-click a browser’s shortcut icon on your desktop to launch it.
    • If you have a browser up already, just open a new tab.
  2. Go to Freelancer. On the address bar, type http://www.freelancer.com and hit Enter.
  3. Log in. Enter your email address and password on the fields provided then click “Sin in” to access your account.
  4. Go to your profile. Hover your mouse over your profile picture for a drop-down menu to appear. From the options, select “Welcome [your username]” to load your profile.
  5. Enter your bio. If you scroll down on your profile page, you will see a blank spot below the Member Since section. Click the blue “Edit” button there, and a box will pop up with the word “Summary.”
    • Click inside the box and enter in some information about yourself, including what you are good at and a little personal information about yourself.
  6. Save your bio. Once you have completed your summary, look for the blue “Save” button directly below your summary. Click on it and your summary will automatically save to your profile.
