Add a Profile Picture on HireTheWorld
HireTheWorld is a freelance website that offers a wide range of work to people, no matter where in the world you live. One of the most important things to keep in mind about freelancing websites is that profile completeness is everything; if your profile is complete people are more willing to hire you. It is crucial to have a profile picture, no matter what site you work on. Luckily, adding a profile picture on HireTheWorld is easier than what most people think.
Steps
- Launch Internet explorer. Double-click a web browser’s shortcut icon on your desktop to launch it.
- Go to Hire The World. On the address bar, type in http://www.hiretheworld.com and hit Enter.
- Log in. In order to get to the Log In page, click on the gray “Sign in” button on the top-right side of the home page.
- Enter your email address, or username, and password on the fields provided then click “Sign in” to access your account.
- Open the Edit Profile window. Click on “Edit Profile” underneath the profile picture on the top-left side of the page.
- Change avatar. A window bearing your picture, or the avatar, will appear in the top-left corner of the screen. Below the picture is a blue button that says “Change avatar”; click on the button to continue.
- Upload a profile picture. Notice that this new window says “Upload new picture” at the top, along with your current profile picture on the left side of the window. Directly beside your profile picture is a gray box that says “Select new picture”; click on the box.
- All of your pictures will be displayed in the computer explorer. When you find a picture you want to use as a profile picture just double click on it.
- Save. Now all you have to do is click the blue “Save” button on the far-right side of the Upload New Picture box.
- Once you hit “Save,” your new profile picture will be set as the default.
