Arrange Post Order in WordPress and Blogger

In WordPress and Blogger posts are arranged according to their publishing dates. Posts with more recent dates come before older ones. So you can reorder your posts by giving different dates. Also, if your WordPress blog is self-hosted, you can use plugins to arrange the post order.

In WordPress

Arranging Post Order by Changing Date

To make a post come before another give it a more recent date.

  1. Click edit in posts screen.
  2. Click edit next to publish.
  3. Enter a date. Do not enter a future date or your post will be scheduled and will not appear on your blog.
  4. Click Ok.
  5. Click Update

Arranging Post Order by Plugin

  1. Use plugins to make things easier and quicker:
  2. Search for other plugins here by typing "post order" in the search box.
  3. Learn how to install plugins.

In Blogger

  1. To make a post come before another give it a more recent date.
  2. Click on edit on the post's screen.You can click on below pictures to enlarge them.
  3. Click Schedule.
  4. Choose Set date and time.
  5. Enter a date.
  6. Click Done.
