Auto Share YouTube Videos on a Facebook Fan Page with the Cueler YouTube App
YouTube allows its users to auto-share their posts both on Twitter as well as on a Facebook profile. But not on a Facebook page (otherwise called fan-page). There is an app now on Facebook called "Cueler YouTube" that allows this as well as the following features:
1. Add a tab called "YouTube Channel" to your page with the videos in the YouTube channel of your choice. You can later rename the tab to anything you want using Facebook Page's Edit Info link.
2. Automatically make a post on the wall of your Facebook page whenever there is a new video in the channel of your choice. This informs the fans of your page about the new video on their news feeds.
3. It allows users of the "YouTube Channel" tab to search for videos restricted to the channel of your choice.
Steps
- Log in to the account that manages the Facebook page.
- Either search for an application named "Cueler YouTube" or click on the following URL: https://www.facebook.com/apps/application.php?id=162891010412392&v=info. Once you're on this page, click on the "install" button. (Make sure you're logged in as the account that manages your Facebook page - else you'll get an error from Facebook).
- Choose the page that you want the YouTube channel to be added as a tab to.
- This adds a tab to your page called "YouTube Videos". Now click on the tab, and choose the "configuration" button. Please note that the "Configuration" button is visible only if you are logged in as the owner of the page.
- Pick the YouTube channel you want to add as a tab, and auto-post videos from, to your page wall.
- You're done. Click on the Configuration button to change your settings at any time.
