Avoid Being Laughed After a Bad Haircut

Are you a victim of a horrid haircut? You can sue the hairdresser, but there's nothing that will get your hair back. With this article, you can learn to work what you have.

Steps

  1. Refuse to pay for it, especially if it is not what you wanted. Bad hairdressers should not be enabled!
  2. Get another haircut. Only do this if your hair is long.
  3. Wear a hat or hood. Don't do this in school, though. The teacher will just ask you to take it off, and the entire class's attention will be focused on you when you do it. If your haircut has uneven lengths, be sure to tuck your hair into the hat. This way, no one will actually see the haircut.
  4. Put your hair in a bun. If your bangs are also a problem, pull them back with clips or barrettes. If your hair still looks horrible while in a bun, put a hat on top.
  5. Distract the eye. Growing a beard will avert the attention away from your hideous hair. This is also a rather effective way, but it may take days or even weeks (and it works only for men, not for children).
  6. Women could wear a nice pair of earrings that are big enough to distract the viewer. Make sure they are visible above your hair.
  7. Shave it all off. However, only use this as a last resort. If you think that your face is pretty enough to completely take a person's mind off of the baldness, go for it. If you do shave it off and don't want to go around bald, wear a wig. Make sure that it has nice material and that it fits your head.
  8. Don't sweat it. If someone is laughing at your hair cut, laugh at it with them and blame it on whoever cut it.
  9. Make all of your friends get the same style, you will set a new trend.
  10. Don't go out in public if you don't have to.

Tips

  • Don't forget your hair will grow back. If you had damaged hair, it will grow back much healthier. Remember that your hair doesn't change who you are. Go to a mirror and say to yourself "It is still me. My hair will never change who I am."
  • Hair extensions may work well.
  • Put hair up and bangs clipped back till your hair grows back, which shouldn't take long as it has just been cut.
  • Be yourself, a bad haircut can't hurt you too much.
  • If you're going to wear a wig, make sure it's the same colour as your hair, so that it will be harder to tell that you are wearing a wig.

Warnings

  • Wearing a wig in windy weather can be disastrous.
  • Shaving your head is a rather extreme reaction to a bad hair cut, and growing your hair out from baldness will require a lot more maintenance than simply growing out a bad cut.
