Be a Pink Punk Girl
If you want to look a little punk but want to keep in touch with your girly side, then this article will show you how to blend pink and black together and still look really cool.
Steps
- Go for stripes. Don't wear baby pink. Stripes work for socks and gloves, but not for tops or trousers.
- Wear black jeans or trousers and studded belts in hot pink or black. Spiked belts go especially well with this look
- Wear a tee shirt that is either:
- black with a pink logo on it, or, pink with a black logo.
- a black t-shirt with a pink t-shirt under it, and the ends of the pink sleeves and the pink neck are just showing
- a short sleeved black t-shirt with a long sleeved pink t-shirt under it
- Paint your nails black. You can also do an alternate color scheme such as one pink nail, then black, then pink and so on.
- Make sure your girl boxers stick out of the top of your trousers. Black boxers with a pink waistband are good. make sure that they are easily seen.
- Wear black trainers. Good ones are vans, converse or skate shoes.
- Make your own tie. Using an old black school tie, cut a hole in it, and secure pink and black striped material behind the holes using safety pins. This step is optional.
- Dye your hair pink. This step is a bit extreme, but it will make you stand out.
- Wear dark eye make up. This gives you a freaky edge and looks great. Use bright pink eyeshadow. Don't make the makeup too dark though.
Tips
- Safety pins are not only useful, but they look good too.
- Wear your ties loosely, to give a casual feel and not look like a total dork.
- Black jeans are only optional, you may want to consider wearing black baggy cargo pants.
- Don't make your make-up look like a clown's. Use it sparingly.
Warnings
- Don't stab yourself with safety pins.
- Your trouser may fall down if you wear them too loose, so make sure you wear a belt.
