Be the Cute Tomboy

Steps
- Dress the part. Wear cute logo T-shirts. Jeans and converse are also cute and boyish. Wearing natural makeup can create a carefree look, while enhancing your beauty. Try to avoid purses and skirts, unless it's a dressy occasion, and even then pair it up with some sneakers, as if you were forced to compromise.
- Embrace your quirks. You don't have to be good at sports for guys to like you, just be passionate about something, like art, music, technology, English or science, to name a few. Even if your hobby is kind of dorky, chances are guys will think it's cute.
- Hang out with other girls. You don't have to be like them or even understand them. Actually, guys might find it endearing if you admit that you don't understand them.
- Be creative on dates. Find something fun and out of the ordinary to do, like go on a hike, or to a bookstore. Or maybe roll down hills whilst bandaged from head to toe in bubble wrap? Anything that is adventurous or unusual will help to make the date, and you, memorable.
- Stand your ground. If you're dating someone, don't be afraid to be tell him what you think. Unlike a "girly" girl, you don't have to excuse your boyfriend's offensive actions just because he's a dude. If something bothers you or makes you uncomfortable, tell him.
- Don't be uptight. When you hang out with guys, avoid acting like a "Debbie Downer," or worse, their mom. Tell jokes, laugh at theirs, and if you have a dumb idea — share it. If you want to be one of the guys, you're going to have to learn to laugh at yourself.
- Get your game on. They're guys, which means they probably like video games. Find out which ones they like and practice playing alone, and then, when you've mastered the game, wow them with your skills. They will fall for you in a snap!
- Don't try to flirt with them. Whether they're your friends or your guy's friends, if one of them suspects that you're flirting with him, he'll probably tell everyone, and then you'll risk being written off as just another girl who wants attention.
Tips
- Stay active — physically and intellectually.
- Learn to be comfortable in being yourself!
- Make time for yourself.
- Be his best friend.
- Once in a while, hang with the girls.
Warnings
- Never break their trust. If they are talking about girls they like, don't go spilling all their secrets. You're lucky enough that they're letting you in on them, don't gossip about it — that's not cool.
- Avoid excessively calling and texting him.
- Don't be someone you're not. They'll see right through you if you're just a "girly" girl pretending to be a tomboy.
