Become a Mermaid in Sims 3 Island Paradise

Have you ever dreamed of becoming a mermaid? Well, you can do so in Sims 3 Island Paradise! Learn to do it the easy way!

Steps

  1. Go to the main menu and click Isla Paradiso, load it up and create a family or move in a family using the bin.
  2. Next move into either a houseboat or a house near the ocean.
  3. Turn on "testingcheatsenabled true." Without quotation marks.
  4. Save your game then go to main menu but DO NOT turn off the cheats.
  5. After you do that load up the same game and then go to the lifetime wish tab. Now hold Ctrl button on keyboard and click a spot near the chest (shown in image above) and you will get a 500 lifetime points on each click. Click as many times as much points you need.
  6. Go into the lifetime awards tab and scroll down.
  7. Click on the mermaid kelp one and you will spend 20,000 simoleons.
  8. Click the kelp in inventory and eat it.
  9. Now you are a mermaid!
  10. Customize the tail and seashells anyway you want! Have fun.



Tips

  • To customize your scale and top, click on a mirror and click on 'change scale appearance.' You can customize away.
  • If you want make your female or male Sim evil and they can contact sharks.
  • Steps 1-4 can be skipped if you enter the cheat in at the main menu before entering the save file.
  • You can do this anywhere, not just Isla Paradiso.
  • Use a whitish pink color for most of the tail and then use any color you want it gives the mermaid a very pretty tail for female Sims.
  • Live close to the ocean since your Sim will get dehydrated. Living in a houseboat can be an especially good idea because you can move to different spots on the ocean.

Warnings

  • If you get dehydrated you will get the chapped moodlet. If you go to long without water you will die.
  • If you want to do it the hard way by befriending a mermaid then you better watch out for evil mermaids they'll give you some bad kelp.
