Bypass OpenDNS and Web Filters with Freegate

This article explains how to get past the content blocker OpenDNS and possibly more filters.

Steps

1. Open your internet browser of choice.
2. Visit http: //download.cnet.com/Freegate/3000-2085_4-10415391.html to download "FreeGate".
3. Run the program and it will open up Internet Explorer. If you don't want to use Internet Explorer, open up your preferred internet browser and find how to access it's proxy configuration. (See Tips)
4. Browse the internet freely.
