Create a Free Redirect Domain with DynDNS

Have you ever created a website on Blogger or Wordpress and hated that you have to use a subdomain, e.g. www.yourname.yourhostsname.com? Well you've come to the right article!

Steps

  1. Make a free account at DynDNS.
  2. Log into DynDNS.
  3. Go to My Account
  4. Go to Add host services.
  5. Type in the custom domain you would like and pick the web extension you want.
  6. Click on Webhop Redirect.
  7. Type in your existing web subdomain e.g. yourname.yourhostsname.com
  8. Click save changes.
  9. Test your new domain. To do this, type in the new domain you chose. It should redirect you to the lengthy URL you used before.
  10. Advertise your new domain.
