Create a Talk Show on YouTube
Okay, so you always wanted to do a talk show on YouTube. This article will show you the steps to do this.
Steps
- Create a name. For example: The Different Show (checkout this show on YouTube username Thedifferentshow77 or TheMakeupQueen13)
- Figure out your Co-hosts. Will you do it alone, or with friends? Make sure you treat co-hosts with respect.
- Make your topics interesting. Don't blab on and on about something for the whole show (create skits; plays; cook interesting foods, etc.)
- Advertise. You could tell people at school, post fliers up or put the link on your Facebook.
- Make it pretty. Use Windows Movie Maker to edit out the bad and make it look good. (No one wants to see you messing up or waiting for something to happen.)
- Have fun with it!
Tips
- If anyone tries to copy your show, then take the high road and make a nice message to them asking nicely to not copy (like if they create the same topics after you on and on). If they refuse, you can just flag the video/user, which reports it to YouTube.
- Make a name that's not been done before. For instance, come up with a new and unique name for the show. Don't copy or use names that are similar to other shows.
- Have fun with it! It's your show, so go for it.
- Get good quality cameras/video cameras, phones won't work as much.
- If someone tries to copy you, don't take the high road. Work harder to make your show better than they could ever achieve. A little competition never hurt anyone, does it?
- Have familiar guest stars - don't have the ones that nobody knows about.
Warnings
- Be careful! Poor video quality leads to less viewers!
- Beware of predators.
- Ask your parents.
