Create an Email Signature in Hotmail

Using an Email signature can be used for many things. Including contact information, your website or blog, or even an interesting quote that you found on the internet. This simple guide will explain how you can make your Email signature in Windows Live.

Steps

  1. Log into your Hotmail account.
  2. Selection the gear symbol at the top near your name.
  3. Select "Options"
  4. Under the header "Writing Email", select "Message font and signature"
  5. You will see two text areas. One that is named "Message font" and "Personal signature". Under Personal Signature, type in the signature that you want.
  6. Once you have come up with the desired signature, click save!
  7. Congratulations, you have just created your personal signature!



Tips

  • Try keeping your signature to 3 to 4 lines. This will keep it from being too long, and keep it from looking like spam.
