Do a Doughnut in Automatic

We've all seen cars on TV and in movies squeal as the do doughnuts around a parking lot. How do you try that trick yourself in an automatic? If you've got a safe and wide open area to practice in, give it a shot.

Steps

  1. Find a wide area. You need lots of space away from people and other cars to try a doughnut. An empty parking lot is ideal.
  2. Turn on the vehicle.
  3. Put it in drive or in your lowest gear (if you can choose between 1 and 2 put it in 1).
  4. Take your right foot off the brake and put your left foot of on the brake.
  5. Put your right foot over the accelerator and push down until the tire start turning and remove when desired.

Warnings

  • It can damage your car...as in transmission and it wears your tires.
