Download and Install the mIRC Chat Client

The mIRC chat client provides users with the opportunity to exchange ideas through art and meet and make new friends. Many scripts exist to make the experience more interesting and fun. Check out Introduction to Mirc http://www.mirc.com/mirc.html

Steps

1. Open your web browser
2. Navigate to http://www.mirc.com
3. Read the link page for the download location. Choose download link and choose save from the dialog box.
4. Run downloaded exe file to install mIRC

Tips

• Pay close attention to underlined links on the mIRC homepage as these point to other important locations. The mIRC FAQ is a good place to start.

Warnings

• You need to be using anti-virus and firewall software when using Internet Relay Chat. (IRC)
