Draw a Camel
This will teach you how to draw a camel.
Steps
- Draw a mountain. If you want a camel with two humps, draw two mountains overlapping slightly. Layering is all the rage so feel free to measure it out or just freestyle.
- Extend a long sloping line from the first mountain to about an inch up.
- Draw the face as you would a round horses face.
- Make sure your camel has super long eyelashes.
- Make a line sloping down to where the legs would begin.
- Draw a circle, this will become the knee.
- Fill in the rest of the front and back lines with a curved line if you want a chubby camel.
- Draw the camel toes.
- Connect back to the hump and add a tail.
- Finished.
Tips
- For extra detail, draw fur as you would draw grass.
- Don't just draw straight lines. Draw thin curved lines which will add more realistic detail to the artwork.
Warnings
- Don't RUSH! You will get cramps.
- Don't draw more than two humps.
