  1. Draw an egg shape. It can be taller or stouter than the shape shown here, depending on how you want your penguin to look. After you've decided on the body's size, sketch in guidelines to help you with the features.
  2. Draw two circles for the eyes. Above those put very short, very faint eyebrows, which should be hardly noticeable unless you're looking right at them. Add in rosy cheeks if you like, and triangle for the beak.
  3. Draw ovals for the wings and small half ovals for the feet. Include a small tail if you want peeking out on the side of the penguin's body. Add an oval on the penguin's tummy.
  4. Outline the penguin. Add in details, like the tuft of feathers on top of the head. Erase any unnecessary guidelines.
  5. Color in your penguin. Use black or grey for most of the penguin's body, with yellowish-orange for the beak and feet. Add in some shadowing/highlights and you are done!
  6. Finished.

  2. Make a half circle where you made the space for the head. Remember to draw lightly as you Will be editing this.
  3. Add a beak by drawing an incomplete triangle like this. Give your penguin eyes by drawing elongated circles onto its head. Remember to erase the areas in which the circles cover.
  4. Draw on the penguin's stomach area, draw an oval or an ellipse inside it, depending on your preference. Add pupils and eye lids to the penguin's eyes.
  5. Draw flippers on it. You might need to erase some of the body to make it look nicer.
