Draw a Fish Tank
Fish tanks are really fun and easy to draw. They use only basic shapes, and will take only a few minutes of your time. Let's begin!
Steps
A Simple Fish Tank
- Draw a rectangle and two horizontal lines inside it, one on top and the other at the bottom.
- Draw small pebbles on the bottom, use curved lines and a few circles.
- Sketch a large corals inside your fish tank.
- Add a few seaweeds. You can use short curved strokes.
- Draw fish, they can be of different sizes. You can also add starfish and shells.
- Refine the details of your drawing. You can add a little texture to the stones and corals by adding a few dots.
- Color your drawing.
A Sketch-Style Fish Tank
- Draw a simple rectangle about 2x4 inches. Make the top bold, to show that that part is the lid.
- Draw the outline of the filter. Make lines so that it looks 3-D. Now add the water line.
- For the pebbles at the bottom, simply make a series of circles. The little seaweed plants are easy too, just make it like a mini tree. First the trunk, then two or three main branches, then a few sprouting from them, and a few sprouting from them until it looks full enough.
- Here's how it should look finished. Enjoy your fish tank!
