Draw a Minotaur
Need a minotaur for your labyrinth? This tutorial will help you draw a basic minotaur for your treasure-guarding needs! Just follow these easy steps.
Note: follow the red guidelines for each step.
Steps
- Start off by drawing two circles interlocking with each other, making one bigger than the other. This is the torso.
- For the arms, draw several circles and ovals forming the right arm and just one semicircle for the left (see image). This length variation for each arm is due to the posture of the minotaur.
- Draw the Minotaur's legs. The legs will still consist of ovals but the ends should be drawn as rectangles for the hooves.
- Now draw a circle with an attached rectangular form for the head. Add two curved lines at each side for the horns.
- Outline the wanted lines of the drawing and erase the guidelines. Finalize any specific details.
- Color the drawing and there you have it, your very own minotaur.
Tips
- Add several pieces of armor and clothing to him. You can even include weapons to make him more menacing.
- Make sure you don't make the circles too big.
