Drive a Go Kart in Gravel
The tarmac is just as good as the gravel. If the tarmac is easy to handle, so is the gravel.
Steps
- Go flat out in the dirt and push the kart to the limit. You will be repelled through the trail at {{safesubst:#invoke:convert|convert}} and keep on the gas through the jumps,if any.
- Steer as early as you would on tarmac, through the corners and slow bends means steering earlier than that and you go slightly faster.
- On embankments on the race line or on the bank for awesome thrill.
- If you stumble upon a rock, don't fret, the tire will not deflate it will lose some air and take some weight off the tires and enable you to go quicker.Be careful on jumps, though.
- On jumps, you can brace yourself with the wheel and prepare for the landing and more do not brake, it will kick up the rear and the nose will dig into the gravel and you will have a kart that will have heavy front damage and if fast enough front end damage and it flips into a tree.
Tips
- If your go kart is about to flip over into the trees, unstrap yourself and let go of the wheel to jump out and prevent head and neck injury. Don't act gutsy trying to save the kart or else you will be flattened to a pancake if you do.
- If or when you hit a rock, and it goes underneath the kart, you have hit the undercarriage and damaged it, and if unusual vibrations take place, it is the wheels or rods that been hit and you'll lose a wheel or loosened a wheel.
Warnings
- Keep an eye on your surroundings; if not careful you could crash into a nearby object.
- If you are not strapped in, you could get thrown out and seriously injured.
- If you drive over a super-sharp rock, one of your tires could get punctured.
