Steps
- Measure the circumference of your head. You can use a flexible tape measure or a string with a regular tape measure. If you have neither, continue on to the next step.
- Go to a store that caries full faced helmets and if you have your measurements; go to a sizing chart and pick your size. If your measurements fall in between sizes, go for the smaller size.
- Test them out. It should fit snug and have a little hard putting it on, but not too hard. To test it, hove it side to side, and make sure your helmet does not move much. Do this in all directions.
- Grab the back of your helmet and try to pull it off with the strap on. If it comes off or it hurts, it might be too big for your head.
- Pull where the helmet covers your mouth and pull down. You should not be able to move it without moving your head.
- Try to put 4 fingers in your cheek and your forehead. Make sure your fingers can not touch these areas.
- Keep the helmet on for 15-20 minutes, if possible. If its still comfortable, buy it. If not, try another size.
