Steps
Shady Sam
- Find Shady Sam by the north wall of the imperial city. He sells 30 lockpicks and poisons.
- Go to the imperial city stables, and then start heading north along the walls.
- Keep an eye out for him right along the walls. He sells the lockpicks for about 6 gold a piece.
Thieves' Guild
- There are a couple of people that sell lockpicks.
- Armand Christophe sells them for 5 gold each.
- Go to the fencers, as they have a couple or a dozen lockpicks.
Dungeon, ruins, forts, etc.
- Wander outside of the cities looking for a fort or someplace you can raid. There are usually about 10-20 lockpicks in each dungeon, fort, ruin etc.
Tips
- Go to the arena or someplace where you can get lots of money so you can buy multitudes of lockpicks.
- Have a high acrobatic for Shady Sam because there are many rocks that get in the way.
- Have good weapons, potions, repair hammers as well as a high security level because the lockpicks will break, and you will run out of them fast if you have a low security level.

- Save the game before entering places to raid because your game may freeze while in the loading screen.
