Get a Shadow Chao and a Sonic Chao

This is all the information that all of you Sonic fans (or Shadow fans) need to know on how to get a Shadow chao and a Sonic chao.

Steps

Hatch a Chao from the Chao Garden (or buy one from the Tiny Chao Garden in Sonic Advanced).
Raise it with Dark Characters, and treat it so that it favors Dark characters, giving it its favorite fruit, feeding it period. The Chao will turn darker to black eventually.
Keep giving it mostly green chaos drives until it enters the cocoon.
When it evolves into a dark Chao, it should have green stripes on its quills, hands, feet, tail, and wings.
Give it primarily fruits and soon the stripes on its quills, hands, feet, tail and wings will have red markings akin to Shadow. It is common for people to give Shadow and Sonic Chao the feet of a Warthog (found in Radical Highway and some other stages) give the appearance of shoes, but this may give the Chao tusks (the tusks can be remedied by use of a Skeleton Dog, found at Pumpkin Hill, but this can also get rid of the "shoes"and also give it bunnies for speed).
Make sure to keep the Chao happy. Do this by feeding plenty of fruits.

Hatch a Chao egg from the Chao Garden (or buy one from the Black Market in Chao Kindergarten).
Raise it with Sonic and Shadow so it becomes a neutral Chao.
Give it primarily green chaos drives until turns an electric blueish color.
When it evolves into a Neutral Running Type Chao, it will have three quills and the color of the Chao will be green. (Again, that's if you did it right.)
Give it fruit (like Shadow Chao)and it will grow two extra quills, and then it will turn blue. This Chao will look a lot like Sonic! And if you want it to look more like Sonic, give it warthogs

The Sonic Chao is a neutral Chao, so to get one you have to either A) Pet it equally with both Sonic and Shadow or B) Get it so that it looks like it will be a Shadow Chao and then pet and feed it its favorite fruit only with a Hero Character.
People have often said that if you give your Chao any other Chaos Drives,or Animals then it will not become a Shadow or Sonic Chao, this is false. Sonic Chao are classified as Neutral/Run/Run Chao, which means they are Neutral (raised by both Hero and Dark evenly, or raised from birth in Sonic Adventure DX or the original Sonic Adventure), primarily run oriented at the time of first evolution. (you can change your chaos evolution path: I once changed my would be Neutral/Fly Chao into Neutral/Swim just before she evolved.). The second Run ( Neutral/Run/Run) means that, although you can still raise other stats besides run (give it other colored animals and drives), it is yet again primarily Run oriented. The Chao can change appearances still, as the Second Evolution (the one a Neutral/Run/Unevolved takes from Green to Blue with a blackish stomach) is gradual (it won't happen right away), and can change; a Neutral/Run/Run can easily become a Neutral/Run/Power with primarily Power (red) Chaos Drives and animals being given to it.
Do all the steps for Sonic but use a shiny yellow Chao or Gold Chao and when it evolves the second time give it some power drives too, but also give it more run drives.
