If you haven't already, take the time develop your identity as an individual and understand what makes you you. Be a Queen!

Steps

  1. Figure out what kind of clothes make you feel like you look good. This means having your clothes reflect who you are. Of course, if comfortable clothes are the things you like, then go for it.
  2. Study stylish role models. Celebrities often hire someone to help them develop coherence to their styles, but you don't have to. Observe a few celebrities whose style you appreciate and see how they skillfully always choose outfits that tie to their personal style. Don't mimic their style, just mimic their methods. Do they always stick to certain colors? Are they always sleek, or always casual? Never try to be exactly them just make it and use them as guidelines.
  3. Make your own clothes and accessories. Unless your style involves brand names and/or you're just not the crafty type, making your own wardrobe is a sure-fire way to develop your own style. Again, focus on colors, symbols, and fashions that reflect you as an individual.
  4. Sport an article of clothing or an accessory that no one else wears, and wear it commonly.

Tips

  • Don't let others tell you, that you look ugly. If you are wearing something that makes you feel good, that's all that matters.
  • Accessorize. Accessories are the things that really complete an outfit.
  • When you shop at places like Abercrombie or Hollister, you might find that many people will be wearing the same thing as you. Try shopping at places like thrift stores, local stores or vintage stores, to create a style that is truly unique
  • Style isn't just about looking good. It's a big part of it, but try not to be too uncomfortable.
  • Don't be afraid of starting trends! Wear whatever makes you happy.
  • If you have to wear a kind of uniform, personalise it with homemade bracelets and anklets.
