- Get a piece of cardboard. Glue foam hearts, trees, people etc. Then punch a hole through the top of the cardboard. Get ribbon or string and hang it up the scene. Write "HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY" or whatever you like on it, to hang on the door as guests arrive.
- Get some colorful balloons ( usually red, pink and white are the best colors for this special occasion ). Blow them using an air pump or balloon pumper and stick them to the walls or throw them on the floor ( both looks great together ).
- Buy or decorate some banners saying 'Happy Valentines day' or some romantic quotes and stick it around the room or venue. This gives a cheerful feeling across the room and also increase their patience, people might be also interested.
Food, drinks and fun
- Prepare a menu. Categorize the dishes in to sections like small chops, main course and desserts. Get the needed groceries and other ingredients for the dishes you have decided to prepare. Buy some drinks at the local store or prepare some. Wine are the best for this occasion.
- Get fresh strawberries and dip. Then, melt them in chocolate. Hershey's chocolate would be the best for this. Freeze the treat for a great cold snack.
- Arrange. Arrange your cutlery on the table. Plates, spoons, knives, forks, napkins and cups at your service ! This won't take much time and your guests will surely appreciate it if it's ready beforehand so that you wouldn't need to be rushing in and out to get it ready !
