Impress People With a Tech Deck

is a mini skateboard that people use their fingers to do tricks on. It's school time again and you are bored, with nothing to do. So, get yourself a Tech Deck! Once you have it, how can you use it to impress people?

Steps

  1. Take your tech deck out during lunch at school.
  2. Put your middle finger on the tail (back of the board), then put your index finger on the middle of the board, and find a technique that suits you.
  3. Pop the tail Try going higher and further(move both fingers at once) once you've landed it. When you go overboard, then it's time for the tricks.

    • Try grinding a lot of books or boxes.
    • Do some flips and land a toe wheeled move, such as manuals and nose-manuals.
    • There is no real way to do an exact trick, so try inventing some tricks such as putting a finger on a part of the board.
  4. Start impressing people now that you have got the basics down. Do a lot of tricks, make new ones and if you have the motivation, open a Tech Deck club and ask all those impressed people to join. With you in charge, of course.
  5. Don't overdo it with all of these or your friends will think you are a showoff.

Tips

  • Practice with some friends. It should be fun.
  • Make sure it doesn't fly in the wrong direction or you might get in trouble
  • Another way to impress people with Tech Decks besides tricks is to get good boards. The best boards are Girl, Plan B, Birdhouse, and Blinds. World Industries and Elements, as well as DGKs and Toy Machines are all popular.
  • Another way is trying to learn to ollie and flipping it. Then some of them would go to you and ask how you did that and they ask if you could do it again.
  • Don't get stuck because you didn't get it right the first day and try again.
  • A place to learn the tricks to do on Tech Decks is TechDeck.com. It takes a while to load but when it does click on Tricks and click a trick you want to learn. It'll show you a video of it being done then in slow motion so you can see how to do it.

Warnings

  • Don't tighten anything on your board too tight; the screws strip easily!
  • Don't walk into any walls; you might break something including the board.
  • Avoid being a show off, people will more likely leave or be mad at you for trying to be a showoff.
  • Skate before the bell, or you will get in trouble for being back to class late!
  • When trading boards make sure the wheels are secured
  • Try to avoid faces of people while tricking, they tend to not like a kickflip to a 50-50 on the bridge of their nose.
  • Try not to loosen hardware so much as bolts or truck as you can't buy them separately
  • If tech decks aren't allowed at your school, don't bring them!
