Install Sims 3 on Your USB Drive

Tired of playing The Sims 3 on one computer and switching to another computer and not having it there? This article will tell you how to get The Sims 3 on your USB stick so you can play it on any computer you go to. This method is quick and easy.

Steps

  1. Purchase a genuine, non-pirated CD of The Sims 3. Pirating is bad and illegal, too.
  2. Insert your USB stick into the USB slot on your computer. Make sure it is 6 GB or more.
  3. Insert your genuine, non-pirated CD of The Sims 3 on the computer. It can't have The Sims 3 preinstalled on it.  
  4. A pop-up dialogue will start up installation of The Sims 3. Click Next.
  5. Select 'advanced settings' and when it asks you where you would like to install The Sims 3, select your USB stick in the menu. Click Next.
  6. Keep continuing the installation process until you are done. Do not run The Sims 3.
  7. Take the USB stick out.
  8. Now plug it into any computer and navigate to The Sims 3 .exe file to start playing.
