Jailbreak an Ipod Touch 1.1.5 or Lower

Want to know how to get 3rd party apps on your Ipod Touch? For Free too? You've come to the right article :) This works for Iphone too

Steps

  1. Hook up your Ipod Touch to your computer through the USB.
  2. Open up Itunes.
  3. Click on your Ipod on Itunes > Click Restore (If you have music or any other media on your ipod touch).
    • A little box opens up and asks if you want to restore it from a backup, deny that and click Don't Back Up.
  4. Another little box comes up, Click Restore.
  5. Go to Google.
  6. Type in Ziphone.
  7. Click on Ziphones Blog.
  8. Scroll down and click Download(Main).
    • You get 2 options on the next page, download for Mac or for Windows, choose which one you have.
  9. Save the file somewhere safe so you can access it for the future and close the page.
  10. Find the file you just saved and unzip it.
  11. Choose all the settings you want in the small window that pops up.
  12. Exit out of the window that shows all the options.
  13. Go to the unzipped file and click Jailbreak iPhone iPod.
  14. Wait until the Jailbreak process finishes.
  15. Turn your Ipod Touch on.
  16. Click on Installer which is now there.
  17. Go to Install.
  18. Go to All Packages.
  19. Scroll down until you see something like BSD Subsystem.
  20. Install that and then find something called BossTool.
  21. Install that.
  22. Turn off your Ipod Touch.
  23. Turn it back on.
  24. Check the main screen for the BossTool icon and click it.
  25. Click Free Disk Space.
  26. Click Move Fonts.
  27. Now you can download different things like NES Emulators, Tap Tap Revolution and more.

Warnings

  • Don't do anything except what these instructions say, you don't want your iPod touch to get ruined.

Things You'll Need

  • Ipod Touch version 1.1.5 or lower or iPhone
  • A Mac Computer or Windows XP (Vista is fine too)
  • Wi-fi(Wireless Internet) if you don't have it then these instructions are pretty much useless to you.
