Keep Automotive Acrylic Paint Like New

You have seen what old wax looks like on a new car. Horrible. Yet, everywhere you look people are saying wax, polish, clay, buff! Ignore all that you may have heard. This is your car and you got a chance to keep the paint in pristine condition. You can avoid the ugly mess by applying an advanced design non dulling non abrasive acrylic paint conditioner(APC)instead of common dulling, hardening wax.

Steps

  1. You want to remove all contaminates from your cars paint.
  2. This includes any form of wax, wax is a major contaminate.
  3. If your paint is new, washing it with dishwashing liquid will prep it for conditioning.
  4. Do not use clay, do not use polish.
  5. Do not use power tools such as power buffers
  6. When car is clean and dry apply acrylic paint conditioner in small amounts.
  7. Start at the top with a soft clean towel and work your way to the bottom, avoiding windows.
  8. Only apply a very thin layer to the paint for ultimate protection
  9. Spread conditioner as far as it will spread before adding more.

Tips

  • Without wax particles will not stick to the car as easily eliminating the need for clay
  • Acrylic paint conditioner is a new generation product, Not all detailers are familiar with this new advancement. If your detailer insists on using wax on your new car, JUST SAY NO!
  • Dry wiping can be damaging to the paint when it is dirty always use moisture to to remove dirt.
  • A detailer that has no experience with acrylic paint conditioners is unqualified to make an informed decision on which is better.
  • Once your vehicle is conditioned and free of wax you will never need to use soap when you wash your car again.

Warnings

  • Do not apply to wet vehicle
  • Do not apply over wax
  • Do not apply to dirty vehicle
