Kick Someone from a Discord Chat on Android
This article teaches you how to kick someone out of a Discord text or voice channel on an Android.
Steps
Kicking Someone from a Text Channel
- Open Discord. It’s the blue or purple icon with a smiling white game controller. You’ll find it on your home screen or in the app drawer.
- Tap ☰. It’s at the top-left corner of the screen.
- Tap a server. Select the server that hosts the channel from which you want to kick a user. Servers appear along the left side of the screen.
- Tap a text channel. Text channels appear under the “Text Channels” header in the center part of the screen.
- Tap the two-people icon. It’s at the top of the screen. You should see a list of the channel’s members.
- Tap the member you want to kick. This member’s User Settings will appear.
- Tap Kick. It’s under the “Administrative” header. A confirmation window will appear.
- Tap Kick to confirm. The member is now removed from the chat. If someone invites them back, they’ll be able to return.
Kicking Someone from a Voice Channel
- Open Discord. It’s the blue or purple icon with a smiling white game controller. You’ll find it on your home screen or in the app drawer.
- Tap ☰. It’s at the top-left corner of the screen.
- Tap a server. Select the server that hosts the channel from which you want to kick a user. Servers appear along the left side of the screen.
- Tap a voice channel. These channels are toward the bottom of the channels list. A new window will appear, prompting you to connect to the channel. It also displays a list of channel members.
- Tap the member you want to kick. The member’s User Settings will appear.
- Tap Kick. It’s under the “Administrative” header. A confirmation window will appear.
- Tap Kick to confirm. The member is now removed from the chat. If someone invites them back, they’ll be able to return.
