Make All of the Sims in a Household Happy

Are your Sims driving you insane? Are they really hungry, super tired and badly need to use the bathroom? Well, to make them all goo back to a green, beautiful back round, well, it isn't hard. This is FOR SIMS 2 GAMES ONLY!

Steps

  1. Open up the cheat box. It is a long white bar across the top of the screen. Hold down Shift and Ctrl (control) at the same time. While holding that down, press C. If done correctly, you should get the bar at the top of the screen.
  2. Type in: boolprop TestingCheatsEnabled true. Type exactly as shown, spaces, caps spelling.
  3. Once you typed the cheat, press Return or Enter.
  4. Now, press shift. Hold down shift and select the mailbox. Keep shift held down the entire time.
  5. Once you have selected the mailbox, click household.
  6. Then click: make all happy.
  7. Watch. You will see the Sims need bars go up and get green.
  8. Repeat this when needed.

Tips

  • If you type in the boolprop cheat in neighborhood view and then switch it off when you are on the lot then you can click and drag the motive bars(hunger, hygiene etc) . This can be useful if you want your Sims to be happy but you don't want them wide awake in the middle of the night.
  • When you select the mailbox, you will see other options too. You might want to explore those!
  • Since that cheat is song long, write it down on a piece of paper to help you remember. That is, if you want too.
  • If you don't like cheating, you could always go to the rewards tab (the treasure chest) and select The Eclectic and Enigmatic Energizer. Make sure it is available to you. Then put it anywhere on your lot. Select your Sim (one at a time!) and select it, then press Use. Make sure you are at least Gold Aspiration though, because otherwise the meters could all go to red!
  • If you don't want to use that, you just have to type in maxmotive instead of boolprop testingcheatsenabled true, which is a safer way to make your Sims happy but it only affects your household Sims.

Warnings

  • If an error comes up while you're playing with the cheat on, don't panic. Click Reset then quickly turn off the cheat. If you don't then it will keep occurring.
  • This cheat can cause problems with your sims because it is the cheat programmers use to test that the game is working properly. Don't click on options if it's not obvious what they do (especially the "force error" option). They are many guides on the internet on how to use it safely.
  • Type the cheat correctly or you will get a big dialog. To remove this dialog, press Ctrl+Shift and then c, like opening the cheat bar.
  • Switch off the cheat by using boolprop TestingCheatsEnabled false. It's a long cheat to remember and it's annoying to keep turning it on and off but it's safer for your game if you do.
