The microwave enables you to spend more time with your guests!

  2. Add the chocolate bar to the bowl. Place the bowl back in the microwave for 1 minute.
  3. Take the bowl out of the microwave and stir the chocolate and milk together.
  4. Dip anything you so desire into the hot fondue! Marshmallows, graham crackers, bananas, apples, strawberries--anything!
  5. Finished.

Tips

  • Check the 1/4 cup of milk at 30 second intervals as microwave ovens do vary.
  • The measurements given are approximate; use your good judgement as to how much chocolate and milk you want to use.

Warnings

  • Make sure the bowl you are putting in the microwave is microwavable. Do not use plastic or metal.
  • Be careful--the bowl coming out of the microwave will be hot!
  • Make sure there are no metal objects in there - the next things you will see are smoke and sparks!
  • Do not obstruct the vents on the top or side of the microwave - this is as dangerous as putting metal in it!
  • Do try not to make a mess!
