Make Creative Gifts

Broke? Is a loved one's birthday approaching? Or is mother's day, father's day or Christmas just around the corner. Not to worry. This article explains how to creative gifts for any occasion. Get started at step number one below.

Steps

1. Brainstorm on the person's interests. Find gifts that are related to these interests. E.g. a friend who likes fashion may like a DIY bracelet.
2. Think about your skills. What are you good at? For example, if you're good at poetry, you could write a poem as a present.
3. Go to craft or DIY sites and look for low-skill projects. One of these may be a perfect gift.
4. Look through your stuff. Is there something your friend has been hinting about liking? You could give this to him/her.
5. Make a card. You can use motifs of her favorite things, e.g. guitars. Paint it yourself and write a message inside.

Tips

• Some ideas are: candles, bracelets, poetry compilation, mix CD, photo scrapbook, book of quotations, lyrics to new popular songs, cards, posters, a framed picture of the two of you.
• Get creative and break out the crafting skills! You don't need to be an artist, but it helps to have an eye for what looks good.
